Field Inspector: Detroit, MI

Position Overview: This is a 1099 independent contractor position, ideal for those seeking hands-on, mission-driven work with real-world impact. As a Field Inspector, you'll serve as the boots-on-the-ground presence for our team, playing a vital role in documenting property damage after natural disasters like hurricanes and floods. This role is especially well-suited for veterans, transitioning service members, or individuals with strong observational skills and attention to detail. Your efforts help families get the support they need faster.

Training and Support: No prior claims or inspection experience is required training is provided. Our team will guide you through the entire process, including how to use our proprietary claims platform, Merge. You'll receive access to real-world tools, professional guidance, and continued support once you're out in the field.

Compensation: This is a 1099, pay-per-inspection opportunity at $100 per completed inspection. Payment is processed quickly once inspections are submitted.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and situational awareness
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Physically able to access rooftops, attics, and exterior structures
• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable using smartphone apps, camera, and file uploads
• Veterans, Reservists, and Guard members strongly encouraged to apply

Tools Required: Ladder, smartphone, tape/laser measure, vehicle, and shingle gauge

Location: Field-based You'll inspect homes in your surrounding region or designated service area. Local assignments prioritized.
