Some of our clients include the US Air Force, National Guard, GSA, and Coast Guard. We typically work within a 5-hour radius of our corporate office, which is located in Warren, OH.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Analyze drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to ensure project requirements are understood.
- Assist in developing project budgets and managing the buy-out process for materials and services.
- Handle purchasing duties, including sourcing materials and negotiating contracts with vendors.
- Submit and negotiate change orders or modifications as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create and update construction schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Complete monthly progress reports and provide updates to stakeholders as required.
- Administer trade contracts and write scopes of work to clearly define project deliverables.
- Maintain Submittal, RFI, and Testing Logs to track project documentation and communications.
- Attend meetings, generate agendas, and document meeting minutes to keep stakeholders informed.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines and milestones.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to facilitate project success.
- Collaborate with project teams on other special initiatives as required.
The ideal candidate should possess: - Minimum of 10 years' experience in construction, with a track record of success in project management roles.
- Experience as a Project Manager on projects with values of at least $1 million.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in engineering or a construction-related field.
- Demonstrated commitment to creatively engage and take initiative in project management.
- Proficiency in software such as Procore, RS Means, On-Screen TakeOff, and Primavera P6.
