Position Summary

As the Equity Stock Plan Administrator for Life Time you will support day-to-day administration of Life Time's equity programs, including equity grants, option exercises, RSU/PSU releases, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). You will partner with key stakeholders in our finance, payroll, tax, legal, and HR teams to answer employee questions, educate employees on equity programs, improve processes, implement controls, and provide reporting as needed. Manage the day-to-day relationship with Life Time's stock plan provider, Fidelity.

Ensures compliance and administration of the company's stock plan programs. Provides equity related data for all required security filings. Oversees stock transactions for Life Time organization; granting, exercise, sale, releases, and terminations. Maintains Life Time's data integrity and periodically validates the accuracy of database information, employee indicative data, eligibility dates, tax withholding rates, etc. Ensures compliance with regulations and securities laws.

In addition, will provide additional compensation support to the Compensation and Payroll team on various projects including Total Rewards and pay-related projects.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Administers Life Time's equity programs (i.e. stock options, RSUs, PSUs, ESPP) and partner with other functional areas (including Legal, HR, Payroll, Tax and Finance) to develop processes which ensure the accuracy of all equity data. Manage the daily administration of Life Time's stock plans including eligibility, enrollment, approvals, processing stock options, restricted stock units, performance stock unit awards, exercises and settlements, tax withholdings, expirations, cancellations, terminations and other plan related activities with third party provider, Fidelity, which includes:
  • Prepares and processes equity grants by creating grant documents to be signed, communicating approved grants to recipients and having approved grants activated in equity platform.
  • Prepares and provides information to employees about vesting schedules, exercise process and eligibility.
  • In partnership with Legal, provide timely information to file Section 16 reports (forms 3, 4, and 5) including reporting, reviewing, and tracking 10b5-1 trading plans.
  • Ensures employees accepts terms and conditions of awards
  • Retrieve annual executive compensation and equity table for annual Proxy.
  • Provide additional compensation support to the VP Compensation and Payroll and Pay teams on various projects including Total Rewards and pay-related projects

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy, strong analytical, and good at problem solving.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment, resolving issues that are not always clearly defined and adhere to critical deadlines.
  • Knowledge of various equity award types (NQ stock options, RSU, PSU, ESPP, etc.).
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance matters related to equity programs and taxation.
  • Advanced Excel user (i.e. pivot tables, xlookup, vlookup).
  • A passion for learning and helping our employees understand equity. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Years of Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in equity and/or stock, financial markets, or compensation

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:

  • n/a

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) or relevant experience
  • Experience with Fidelity (or similar from E*Trade or other stock plan provider)

Pay

This is a salaried position starting at $70,000.00 and pays up to $97,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.
