This position assists the Siting Coordination Office which is responsible for the coordination of processing electrical transmission and power plant applications filed under the Siting Acts.
This position works closely with all divisions in the Department, as well as other state and local agencies, to ensure Siting projects will comply with applicable regulations.

Beginning annual salary is $56,000-$65,000 commensurate with knowledge and experience
Your Specific Responsibilities:
This position will serve as the Environmental Consultant for the Siting Coordination Office by providing oversight in case management including coordination with other DEP Programs and state and local agencies, rule development, final approval documents, and reports and summaries for Siting projects.

A bachelor's degree in science or engineering, from an accredited college or university and 3 years of related experience; or, a ny combination of post-secondary education and verifiable related experience, as described in this posting, for a total of 7 years.
