Endocrinologist – Full-Time Academic Faculty Appointment

📍 Southern United States | Internal Medicine Division

An academic health system in the Southern U.S. is recruiting a Board Certified/Eligible Endocrinologist to join its Division of Internal Medicine. This full-time faculty appointment includes clinical care, medical education, and opportunities for scholarly activity.

The role offers a balanced practice with a mix of outpatient and inpatient care, a strong referral base, and the opportunity to contribute to residency training and curriculum development.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in a clinical setting with both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
• Supervise and teach residents and medical students
• Participate in quality improvement, case conferences, and departmental research
• Engage in academic pursuits based on interest and experience

Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the U.S.
• Commitment to academic medicine, education, and team-based care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
