Job Details: The Emergency Medical Technician - Ambulance Driver is responsible for transporting patients, delivering basic patient care, providing comfort measures, maintaining patient care environment, and reporting patient responses to nursing for intervention. In addition, the role involves assisting nurses in completing patient care activities, ensuring patient comfort, and coordinating with other staff to meet medical supplies and equipment needs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be knowledgeable about safety management programs, and demonstrate an understanding of patient confidentiality and privacy. This role requires an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification, CPR/BLS certification, and preferably PALS and EVOC certifications. The candidate must have a high school diploma or GED.
