Position Overview:


We are seeking passionate and qualified ELL / ESL Teachers to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in helping students who are learning English as an additional language. Your focus will be on creating a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere that facilitates language development and academic success.


Type: Full-Time - Direct Hire


Salary: $48,000 - $55,000 per year


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver lesson plans tailored to the needs of ELL/ESL students.
  • Assess and monitor students' language progress and academic performance.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports language acquisition.
  • Employ a variety of instructional strategies and resources to address diverse learning styles.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
  • Provide individualized or small group instruction to address specific learning needs.
  • Stay updated with best practices in ELL/ESL education and integrate new methods and tools.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the unique needs of each student.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, TESOL, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid teaching certification or license with an ESL endorsement, if required.
  • Experience teaching ELL/ESL students in a classroom setting.
  • Strong knowledge of language acquisition theories and instructional strategies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop engaging lesson plans and instructional materials.
  • Patience, flexibility, and a dedication to student success.
