Home Base Transportation is looking for drivers. We provide top-quality transportation services with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and exceptional customer care. We are a non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) and other transportation solutions to the communities we serve.
Do you want to make a positive impact on lives and help people that need non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) all while having FUN? Do you have a VALID DRIVERS LICENSE? We are currently hiring NEMT Drivers to join our TEAM in Mesquite, TX and surrounding areas.
DRIVER POSITION
As an NEMT Team Driver, you will be the first to impress on the client how important they are. You will be providing a safe and comfortable trip. Your commitment to punctuality, empathy, and professionalism will ensure that our clients receive the high-quality care and assistance they deserve.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* MUST SUBMIT TO A DRUG TEST
- Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare facilities in Dallas and the surrounding area.
- Provide assistance with boarding and disembarking, as needed.
- Ensure the comfort and well-being of the clients during transportation.
- Adhere to established routes and schedules while maintaining excellent time management.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families, ensuring a positive and respectful experience.
- Report any issues or concerns to the transportation coordinator.
- Must know your way around a smart phone
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid drivers license & clean driving record
- MUST HAVE A GREAT ATTITUDE! If you don’t have that, don’t waste your time or ours!
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings & weekends
- Must be willing to work on an ‘on-call’ basis
- Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility needs as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathetic and patient demeanor, LOVE WORKING WITH PEOPLE AND BEING A TEAM PLAYER!
- Comfortable driving in and around the Dallas, TX area.
- Comfortable working in a medical setting at hospitals, doctor offices, and senior assisted living.
- Willing to learn how to load/unload patients in/out of wheelchair vans and differing medical buildings
