Position:  Experienced Emergency Dispatcher 

Location: Tulsa, OK

Pay: $15/hour

Experience: 

• Previous emergency dispatch experience (REQUIRED)
• EMT-Basic or previous EMS, Fire, Police, or Air Medical Communication experience (preferred) 

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Day Shift, 6am to 6pm or 7am to 7pm

ProRecruiters is seeking an  Experienced Emergency Dispatcher to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:  

• Facilitate transport requests and prioritize emergency and non-emergency phone calls in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Manage emergency communications and coordinate emergency procedures as necessary.
• Demonstrate sound judgment under pressure while ensuring effective communication among aircraft, pilots, medical crew members, and clients.
• Maintain both written and electronic records.
• Identify and take action to prevent or address potentially unsafe situations.
• Monitor the location and status of aircraft during patient transport missions (flight following).
• Perform general office support tasks, including preparing reports and logs.
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements: 

• Computer literacy including good typing skills
• Ability to deal with sensitive information in a discreet and professional manner
• Obtaining one of the following certifications within 18 months of hire is highly encouraged: Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD), Certified Flight Communicator (CFC) certified, and Advanced Communicator Course (ACC) certified
