We are a fast-paced, growing print company looking for a self-motivated individual.
This full-time position is in our direct mail department. It involves preparing printed direct mail such as postcards, folded self-mailers, booklets, letter, snap packs, etc for mailing. This is a hands on production job. Do not apply if you are looking for a desk job.
Job duties include but not limited to:
-Finishing and bindery operations for direct mail pieces including UV coating, cutting, folding, tabbing, inserting, addressing, etc.
-Sorting and preparing mail according to USPS standards
-Digital printing
-Use of several different pieces of equipment
-Keeping multiple jobs organized and meeting deadlines
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability:
- Understand/follow directions to meet deadlines
- Work well as a team or individually with minimal direction
- Detail-oriented with a professional attitude
- Learn and retain new skills quickly
- Comfortable working with mechanical and computer controlled production equipment
- Ability to use a ruler as well as work with measurements in fractions, decimals, and metric
- Ability to work on your feet for several hours a day
