A large Data Center in Hillsboro, OR is hiring multiple Data Center Cable Technicians to join the team for a great opportunity!

Job Duties:

• Data Center build , Cable dressing , Basket tray installation. Job is a data center installing cabinets, cable tray, ladder rack, fiber runner, containment and trunks.
• Installation/decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment.
• Pull all types of low voltage cable including copper telecom, fiber, cat5/6, coax, etc.
• Install OSP/ISP cables through conduits and maintenance.
• Cut and install threaded rod, uni-strut, fiber trough and affix bar coding to equipment and free printed label.
• Reading and comprehending blueprints and building documentation/redline work.
• Construction/Labor intensive role.

Qualifications:

• Need to have a strong work ethic. This is physical work, up and down ladders, putting together server cabinets, and cabling, etc..
• Willing to look at candidates with no cabling experience who want to get into the trade as they are willing to train and teach.
• Prefer Cabling experience (coax, fiber, cat5, cat6, punch downs, etc.) no license required.
• Data Center/Construction site experience is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
