We’re looking for a highly skilled and self-driven Creative Producer to join our Global Communications team and lead all aspects of video and photo production across our organization. This role is ideal for someone with a strong creative eye, deep technical expertise, and the ability to translate business priorities into compelling visual storytelling.

As the Creative Producer, you will be the central figure behind our visual content, shaping how our story is told both internally and externally—from the CEO’s strategic messages to global town halls, department culture pieces, and brand-building campaigns. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership, manage production from concept to delivery, and guide global partners in executing high-quality content. You’ll also oversee our digital asset library, maintain production gear and systems, and bring structure to a growing content environment. This position may be based in Northville, MI and reports directly to the Vice President, Global Communications of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the full production lifecycle of video and photography projects, including concept development, scripting, shooting, editing, color grading, and delivery.
  • Partner with executive leadership and business units to translate complex messages into emotionally impactful video content for internal and external use.
  • Direct live and hybrid productions, with fluency in switching systems (Blackmagic ATEM), signal flow, livestream audio (Dante), and AV coordination.
  • Manage and maintain in-house studio equipment, camera systems, lighting, microphones, and accessories.
  • Oversee digital asset management (DAM) using Canto and NAS storage systems to ensure easy access, searchability, and long-term organization of assets.
  • Create repeatable workflows and scalable guides for remote video contributors across global regions.
  • Collaborate with teams across departments to fulfill a high volume of visual storytelling needs.
  • Strong project management skills to organize timelines, approvals, and delivery milestones.
  • Bring stories to life through film and cinematography.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or training/certification in video and photography a plus

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-7 years relevant experience (personal or professional)
  • Automotive experience and knowledge a plus
  • Transformation, change management and internal communication experience a plus
  • Proven experience as a videographer, video editor, photographer
  • Advanced knowledge in video editing software (Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe After Effects for other similar video editing software)
  • Strong knowledge of video studio equipment / in-house studio management. Will be required to set-up and run the studio, as well as train others on use of the equipment
  • Strong understanding of composition, visual storytelling, and design principles and apply them to a content strategy
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Attention to detail and keen eye for aesthetics
  • Comfortable working with company executives in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Strong multi-tasking and project management capabilities
  • Ability to translate ambiguous and sometimes vague concepts
  • Knowledge of digital media channels (social media, web) a plus as you will be working with digital media professionals to create content for these channels
  • Knowledge of livestream production and platforms a plus
  • Ability to travel ~20%, including international
