Spark Networks is a leading global dating company with a widening portfolio of premium & freemium apps, including Zoosk, JDate, Christian Mingle, Silver Singles, and Elite Singles. Formed in 2017 through the merger of Affinitas GmbH and Spark Networks, Inc., the company operates in 29 countries worldwide. As Spark continues to enhance its brands, we are growing our team with a Copywriter.
Responsibilities: - Write on-brand copy that engages, educates, and resonates with customers
- Create compelling content for SEO, performance media, awareness, and evergreen ad copy, with an eye toward achieving specific performance goals
- Craft copy for email campaigns, product releases, push notifications, and in-app messages
- Monitor and analyze email performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to improve future campaigns
- Interpret creative direction from briefs into copy that converts
- Ensure quality, clarity, and consistency in content and copy across all channels and assets
- Work closely with creative, marketing and cross-functional teams to fulfill a range of needs across different platforms
- Present copy at review meetings
- Collaborate closely with graphic design partners
- Stay up to date with copy trends and generate new ideas to draw the audience's attention
Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Teamwork, project management skills, and creativity a must
- Experience with SEO a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization and prioritization skills, ability to handle multiple projects across several seasons/packets/channels
- Detail oriented with focus on delivering results
- Self-starter, takes initiative, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Ability to partner with multiple cross functional teams
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work - This is a full-time remote position.
- Remote team members must live and work in the United States (preferably EST). Approved Remote Locations are Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
