Job Description
Job Summary :The contract administrator is responsible for the contracting and procurement function of their assigned Division, during both steady-state operations and emergency response activities. The Contract Administrator supports their business unit(s) and works closely with the Division personnel to ensure a cost effective and timely contracting process. This position has extensive interaction with external subcontractors, landlords and vendors, and with internal stakeholders across all departments within the Division, and Corporate Finance and Legal personnel. In steady state, the contract administrator manages the contracting and procurement activities in support of day-to-day business operations. This includes contracting for good and services, for commodities such as leased facilities and vehicles, operational equipment and personnel, equipment maintenance services, office equipment and services, and other third-party services. During emergency response activities the Contract Administrator, in conjunction Operations, sources and mobilizes goods and services, prepares contractual documentation for customers and third-party contractors, provides cost estimates, resolves contractor issues, and reviews and authorizes payment of contractor billings.
