Job Title: Fabrication Machine Operator

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

The 109 FAB Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining fabrication equipment to produce high-quality aluminum parts. This role ensures that production goals are met safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate fabrication machinery including saws, presses, benders, and CNC equipment.
2. Load and unload materials and parts onto machines.
3. Monitor machine operation and report any issues to supervisor.
4. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.
5. Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications.
6. Document production data and report any issues to the supervisor.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
8. Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.
3. Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
4. Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
5. Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface.
6. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Work Environment:

1. Fast-paced manufacturing floor.
2. Exposure to noise, machinery, and aluminum materials.
3. Requires use of safety equipment and adherence to safety procedures.
