We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions that align with our organizational goals. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can work collaboratively with engineering teams to ensure optimal cloud performance and security. Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and deploy effective cloud-based solutions.
• Design, plan, and implement scalable cloud applications and infrastructure.
• Manage cloud environments while adhering to strict security protocols and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues throughout the development lifecycle.
• Provide training and guidance to teams on new cloud-based initiatives.
• Develop and promote best practices for cloud engineering operations.
• Build and design web services, ensuring redundancy and high availability across geographic regions.
• Automate and orchestrate cloud platforms to streamline operations.
• Stay informed about industry advancements and recommend new technologies to enhance organizational efficiency.
• Respond to after-hours support requests as part of an on-call rotation and resolve ServiceNow tickets within established timelines.• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• At least three years of experience in software development using languages like Java, Python, C++, or Ruby.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or OpenStack.
• Familiarity with scripting tools like PowerShell, Python, or similar.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP and DNS.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or similar are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
