About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and assessment of public relations, marketing, and communications strategies. The CMO will be a key leader in advancing the organization's mission, broadening awareness of its impact, and increasing its visibility both within the Jewish community and beyond. This includes ensuring consistent messaging and branding, leveraging key strengths and differentiators, and raising the organization's profile in philanthropic and community engagement work. The successful candidate will be an engaging storyteller, with a genuine interest in and connection to the Jewish community, and will be responsible for leading a team to execute integrated communications plans that align with the organization's strategic focus. Candidates for the CMO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a senior leadership role. Non-profit experience is preferred. The role requires an individual with outstanding relationship-building and interpersonal skills, a solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to work well under pressure. The CMO will be expected to combine executive-level strategic thinking with results-oriented execution, and to be adept at managing a team, budget, and key performance indicators. Responsibilities also include serving as a communications counselor, producing the Annual Report, and ensuring the strategic use of all communication vehicles, both digital and print. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader, capable of motivating high-performing teams, and will work closely with the CEO and Board to ensure the organization's strategic focus is effectively communicated.
