Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Description:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our private, family-owned homebuilding company based in Central Georgia. As CFO, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our financial strategy and operations as we embark on significant growth and expansion plans. This position reports directly to the owners and will be instrumental in shaping our future ventures in residential, commercial, and development sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and oversight of all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, treasury, and financial reporting
• Collaborate with executive team to develop and execute strategic plans to support business growth and profitability
• Analyze financial performance and provide strategic guidance to optimize revenue and control costs
• Manage relationships with banking institutions, investors, and financial partners
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements
• Lead financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets
• Support ownership in strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and analysis
• Oversee risk management strategies and ensure effective mitigation plans are in place

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• Proven experience as CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within the construction or real estate industry
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
• Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Effective communicator and team leader
