About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to lead the development and oversight of its enterprise-wide compliance program. The CCO will be responsible for ensuring that the organization's operations are in line with all relevant regulations and standards, with a particular focus on healthcare compliance. This includes overseeing policy and procedure development, employee training, and internal auditing activities. The successful candidate will also serve as a key liaison for compliance matters and will be expected to foster a culture of compliance throughout the organization. Candidates for the CCO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree, with a graduate degree in a relevant field preferred, and a minimum of 5 years' of experience in compliance and/or auditing within the healthcare sector. Experience in additional areas such as sponsored awards, research, non-profit finance, or healthcare reimbursement through governmental sources is strongly preferred. The CCO will be tasked with monitoring changes in the healthcare industry and legislation to ensure that compliance policies are current and effective. The role requires a leader who can effectively manage both internal and external compliance resources and who is dedicated to making compliance a top priority within the organization.
