Job Summary:
We are looking for a residential & light commercial woodwork painter to join our team! You will prepare and perform professional exterior and interior finishing/painting jobs in residential and light commercial settings.

Experience preferred, but not required as you'll learn on the job. A desire to learn and take pride in delivering a quality service to customers is a must! A positive attitude is also a must!

Responsibilities:

• Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques
• Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed
• Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
• Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks
• Inspect paint jobs for quality
• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair and woodworking is preferred
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites is preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment
