Job Description

Ameritas Investment Company (AIC)is one of the top broker/dealers affiliated with a life insurance company in the nation. This position is remote and does not require regular in-office presence.

This internship will begin May 2025.

  What you do

  • Use your Excel and Word Microsoft skills to sort and categorize information.
  • Perform analyses and research on securities transactional data.
  • Navigate various data sets to find and confirm missing information.
  • Gain knowledge about the approval process of securities transactions.
  • Assist with a multitude of projects and responsibilities of a wide skill range.
  • Work with a licensed principal who will give you insight into a career as a principal.

What you bring:

  • Actively enrolled in a college degree or university program at least part-time as defined by your institution.
  • Able to fulfill at least year-round commitment
    • PT during the school year (15 - 20 hours)
    • FT during the summer (30 - 40 hours)
  • Ability to apply technology efficiently
  • Experience with data spreadsheets and analyzing them
  • Adept use of Microsoft Office and internet browsers
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to problem solve and work autonomously
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
