Job Overview

We are looking for a hardworking and experienced Bricklayer to join our Construction company.

As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for reading blueprints and interpreting building plans. You will also be responsible for positioning bricks as per the specifications and requirements.

Good communication and strong physical stamina will be required. You should also have an understanding and knowledge of building structures. Working with safety and precision is a prime responsibility for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Interpreting building plans
• Understanding building plans and lays outs
• Making use of different types of brick
• Working in collaboration with Construction Workers, and other team members
• Using all the construction tools and equipment required for tasks

Requirements:

• Bricklayer - Red seal
• Proven work experience in the construction industry
• Excellent knowledge of workplace safety
• Illustrate a strong understanding of methods and procedures in brick laying
• Excellent ability to solve problems
• Good math and judgement skills
• A hardworking an dedicated individual
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Good communication skills
• Quick decision-making abilities
• Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
• Valid drivers license and able to provide your own transportation to and from the job site

Hourly Rate $35 - $50/hour. Negotiated based on experience.
