Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Behavior Specialist to support elementary school students. This role is based in Waukegan, IL, and involves working within an educational environment throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans for students.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze behavioral data to inform interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote positive behavior supports.
• Provide training and guidance to educational staff regarding behavioral strategies and best practices.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and adjust plans as needed.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or certification as a Behavior Specialist.
• Experience working with children in elementary school settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and behavior management techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators and families.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Duration: Contract position for the current school year
