Base pay range $50.00/hr - $55.00/hr About Company Tektrnd Company Overview Role -Azure Data Engineer . Locations -NJ/NY/PA (Onsite) Role Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines and architectures. Implement data ingestion, processing, and storage solutions. Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations efficiently. Develop and optimize SQL queries for data analysis. Monitor data pipeline performance and optimize accordingly. Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts for data requirements. Ensure data quality and integrity across all systems. Work with Azure Data Factory to orchestrate data workflows. Develop data models and visualizations using Power BI. Documentation of data engineering processes and architecture. Integrate data from external sources into existing models. Assist in troubleshooting data issues in production environments. Stay updated on the latest data management technologies and trends. Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed. Support compliance and governance standards related to data handling. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven 8 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role. Strong knowledge of Azure Data services. Proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques. Experience with ETL tools and processes. Familiarity with data storage solutions such as Azure SQL Database and Data Lake. Hands-on experience with Python and data analysis libraries. Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture. Experience in developing dashboards and reports using Power BI. Knowledge of data governance, quality, and security best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
