Senior Project Manager – Aviation

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with deep expertise in aviation infrastructure and airport development to lead high-impact projects and expand our presence in the FAA SW ADO region . This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned aviation professional to lead high-profile airfield projects , develop strategic industry partnerships, and contribute to long-term business growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Expand market presence by leveraging industry relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
• Manage complex aviation projects with large budgets, multiple stakeholders, and specialized consultants.
• Oversee financial performance , providing strategic insights and solutions to drive profitability.
• Navigate contracts and risk management , ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead marketing and business development efforts , securing new clients and projects in the aviation sector.

Role Focus:

• 65% Practice Building & Business Development
• 35% Project & Client Management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas (with the ability to obtain licensure in NM and OK; current registration in all three preferred).
• 10+ years of aviation/airport design experience , with expertise in airfield geometry, pavement design, grading & drainage, and lighting/NAVAIDs .
• Deep understanding of FAA regulations, funding mechanisms, and industry best practices .
• Proven track record in public-sector projects , working with FAA, TDOT Aviation, and other state agencies .
• Exceptional leadership and business development skills , with the ability to expand market presence and build lasting client relationships.
• Strategic mindset , balancing long-term vision with hands-on project execution.
