Jacksonville State University Computer Science Faculty Position The Department of Mathematical, Computing, and Information Sciences (MCIS) of Jacksonville State University's College of Arts, Humanities, and Sciences invites applications for a tenure track position for Assistant Professor of Computer Science. JSU's program is ABET accredited.
The successful candidate is responsible for instructional work to facilitate student comprehension and application of concepts, skills, and behaviors that contribute to the development of mature, able, and responsible members of society. This position exists to provide educational services to traditional and non-traditional students during the day or evening at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Relevant skills include expertise in data science, web development, information systems, networking & security, or game design. Pedagogical as well as discipline area research activity is encouraged. The faculty member will be expected to teach in person on campus. Course delivery methods may also include online or hybrid instruction.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in a computing field such as Computer Science or Information Systems. Quality teaching experience is highly desired.
