The Area Business Coach position is responsible for the sales, profitability and operations of a company owned market comprised of four (4) to six (6) restaurants. The Area Business Coach's primary responsibilities include: Monitoring and improving restaurant sales and profitability through efficient operations and restaurant visits Assisting with weekly projections and analysis of financial performance Developing plans for improvement to maximize results Managing and leading a restaurant management team that will work in maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction by facilitating safe, clean, high quality restaurant operations Protecting the Brand and the health and welfare of guests and employees through compliant practices Driving sales at the restaurant level through local marketing tactics. The Area business coach is responsible for building a team of high- performing Restaurant Managers and maximizing operations excellence at the restaurant level by: Working with Restaurant Managers to optimize restaurant sales by addressing customer feedback, food safety and operational audits Preparing and conducting annual reviews for members of the store management team Requirements /Qualifications: Strong business leader that can drive specific behaviors, lead by example, roll up their sleeves and get into finding solutions, and like working autonomously At least 3 years of multi-unit restaurant management experience and/or at least 5 years in restaurant management is required Proven coaching/training experience; ability to make quick decisions and multi-task P&L analysis/management experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Full-Service Multi Unit experience preferred A Bachelor's degree is preferred Experience: 3 years Multi-Unit (Required) Perks - Competitive wages Comprehensive training program Meal discounts An open-door work environment Paid time off - insurance benefits for eligible team members Promote from within opportunities Pride of working with a company that's been woven into the fabric of America since 1936 Job Type - Full-time Benefits - ~401(k) ~ Dental insurance ~ Employee discount ~ Health insurance ~ Paid time off ~ Vision insurance Shift - ~10 hour shift ~ Day shift ~ Night shift Work Location - In person Check us out online at Big Boy Restaurants is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
