Job Description

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center seeks a full-time Anesthesiologist Assistant or CRNA.

Under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist, the Anesthesiologist Assistant is responsible for administering anesthesia and anesthesia related care to SVMC patients.

Requirements:

• Master's degree as an Anesthesia Assistant from an accredited university or college required. OR Master's degree from accredited CRNA program.
• Prior clinical experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain valid AA license required. Knowledge of Society CCNAA laws, regulations, etc.
• Ability to maintain current Health Care Provider BLS verification required.
• Ability to effectively operate a variety of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Meditech HIS software programs required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Acute Cardiac Life Support ACLS certification required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification required.
• Ability to effectively operate all Anesthesia equipment required.
• Ability to consistently display professional, ethical, standards of care consistent with SVMC medical staff by-laws required.
• Knowledge of SNAP reporting system elements required.
