ABOUT THE ROLE
TaxRise is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee our accounts payable operations and support the finance team. This role is responsible for managing the AP process, ensuring timely and accurate payments, maintaining vendor relationships, and providing leadership and guidance to AP staff.

Annual Salary: $75,000 $90,000 (Full-time, exempt)
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead, mentor, and support a small accounts payable team
Manage the full-cycle AP process, including invoice coding, approvals, and payment processing
Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors and contractors
Maintain vendor files and foster positive vendor relationships
Review and reconcile AP transactions, statements, and aging reports
Oversee expense report processing and corporate credit card reconciliations
Collaborate with accounting leadership to improve AP processes and workflows
Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations
Support internal and external audits with AP documentation
Manage special projects and ad hoc AP tasks as needed
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
5+ years of accounts payable experience, including at least 12 years in a supervisory or lead role
Strong knowledge of AP processes, internal controls, and best practices
Proven experience with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP)
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
Ability to work effectively with individuals across all levels of the organization
