What the Accounting Assistant will do:

• Invoice Processing - Generate, review, and send invoices to customers.
• Payment Posting - Record incoming payments and match them to outstanding invoices.
• Collections & Follow-ups - Monitor accounts, send payment reminders, and follow up on overdue balances.
• Reconciliation - Reconcile customer accounts, bank deposits, and financial records.
• Data Entry - Maintain accurate records of transactions in accounting software.
• Assist with Month-End Close - Support accounting team with reports and account balancing.
• Customer Communication - Respond to inquiries about invoices, payments, and account status.
• Compliance & Documentation - Ensure financial records comply with company policies and regulations.

What Our Client is looking for in an Accounting Assistant:

• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A self-starter who can take direction and operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring productive relationships with vendors and internal team members.
